MasterEmaco S488

The MasterEmaco S 488 is a ready-to-mix powder product. When mixed with water, it forms a rheoplastic mortar that is fluid and free of segregation, thixotropic, with high resistance, and has strong adhesion to steel and concrete. The MasterEmaco S 488 mortar is thixotropic and non-shrinking, both in its fresh and hardened states. Reinforced with acrylic fibers, the MasterEmaco S 488 is waterproof and extremely durable even in highly aggressive environments. It does not contain metallic aggregates and is free of chlorides.

2. Maintenance work in mechanical industries, particularly in environments containing mineral oils, lubricants, etc.…
3. Protection of concrete from aggressive waters containing sulfates, sulfites, chlorides, etc…
4. Repair of damaged elements.
5. Repair of elements subjected to repeated stresses.
6. Repair of structural elements (reinforced or prestressed concrete beams under normal or eccentric loads).
7. Surface repair (bridge decks, toppings, pavements, etc.).
8. Maintenance and repair work in an agricultural setting (animal husbandry, etc…).

Properties

1. Compensated shrinkage mortar – reduces the risk of cracking and ensures permanent contact with concrete for continuous load transmission in restructuring work
2. No primary is necessary
3. Enables quick and low-cost application
4. For quick application in large quantities by projection
5. Very high impermeability - allowing the product to effectively resist the action of sulfates and aggressive waters.
