Areas of Application
The main areas of use for MASTERSEAL550 are :

• Waterproofing of water-containing structures: ornamental ponds, fountains, water blankets, swimming pools (if covered with tiles)
• Waterproofing of wet areas before tile installation: collective showers, laundries, collective kitchens.
• Protection of concrete structures against carbonation and salts (de-icing and marine atmosphere)
• Waterproofing under tile of balconies and terraces.

Properties
• Remains flexible in immersion
• Good chemical resistance to fresh water, wastewater, and moderately acidic liquids.
• Resists occasional pedestrian traffic.
• Resists freeze/thaw cycles.
• Permeable to water vapor. Non-toxic, suitable for contact with drinking water.
• Forms a barrier to CO2 .

Easy application
• Quick and easy application using a brush, by spraying, or with a comb and a straightener.
• Tools can be easily washed with water.
• Safe to handle and use, solvent-free
