Usage

Improvement of mechanical resistance:
Thanks to a water reduction of 10 to 15%, Plastiretard increases the long-term mechanical resistance of concrete by 20 to 30%.
It also significantly improves compactness.
It is particularly well suited:

• Reinforced and prestressed concrete
• To the concrete reservoirs.

Concrete pouring in hot weather or in large masses:
The retarding effect of Plastiretard prevents a sudden rise in the temperature of the concrete during setting and makes its use essential

• when the temperature is high
• for large mass concrete: dams, etc.

Rebatches of concrete:
Thanks to the significant setting delay that Plastiretard can cause, it is possible to perform rebatches of concrete several hours after an interruption, without any additional precautions other than protection against drying. Long-distance transportation of concrete:
The user of Plastiretard allows for the problem-free transportation of all concretes over long distances, regardless of conditions (temperatures, risk of traffic jams, etc.). Improvement of workability:
As a plasticizer retarder, Plastiretard can be used in all cases of concrete placement, in particular:

• for easier implementation.
