Improved Mortar Compound – Class C2-ET

Description

SikaCeram 522 is a high-performance mortar adhesive designed for the installation of ceramic coverings in small and large formats, on new or old substrates. Suitable for heated floors, intermediate floors, and walls in very humid rooms, it offers exceptional laying comfort thanks to its extended open time and slip resistance.

C2 cement adhesive

Applications

Installation of ceramic tiles, faience, terra cotta, natural stone, glass paste, and enamel.

Interior and exterior: floors, walls, pools, public and private basins.

Compatible surfaces: concrete, cement mortar, plaster, gypsum boards, cellular concrete, non-radiant heated floors.

Preparation of the Support

Self-supporting, clean, dust-free, and cohesive.

Removal of plaster marks, form release oil, laitance, greases.

During renovation, check the good adhesion of old finishes and deglaze enamel surfaces.

User Manual

Mix: Combine 25 kg with 4.25 to 4.75 liters of clean water.

Use a notched trowel suitable for the size of the tiles.

Double coating is recommended for larger formats and substrates with low absorption.

Cleaning: With clear water before hardening.

Do not apply on painted surfaces, metals, plaster, wood panels, old exterior tiles, electric radiant heating floors.

Avoid using the application during rain, strong wind, frost, or extreme heat (>30°C).

Check compatibility with certain natural stones (stain tests recommended).

Packaging and Storage

25 kg bag.

Store in a dry environment under cover.
