SUPER SIKALITE WATERPROOF POWDER

SUPER SIKALITE is a powder additive for waterproofing concrete, cement mortars, or hybrid mortars.

Fields of Application

Wall and facade waterproofing: comply with the provisions of DTU 26.1. Formwork: comply with the provisions of DTU 14.1.

Roof membrane protection caps and forms.

For pools and reservoirs, waterproofing is easily achieved by applying in several passes a mortar coating of SUPER SIKALITE, 2 to 3 cm thick, on freshly poured concrete. The mixing ratio will be 1 volume of cement to 2 volumes of sand, and the finish coat will be troweled and not smoothed to avoid glazing.

Installation of waterproof screeds (comply with the provisions of DTU 52).

The waterproofing of the screed will be achieved by incorporating SUPER SIKALITE into the mortar dosed with cement as described for pools and reservoirs.

Installation of screed layers, capillary breaks (refer to the provisions of DTU 20.1).
