Properties of Weathercoat GP

Weathercoat GP is a site-mixed waterproofing product consisting of two components: a cement-based powder and an acrylic resin. Depending on the mix ratio, formulations with varying degrees of flexibility are produced, suitable for specific applications. Here are the main properties of Weathercoat GP:

- Permanent waterproofing:

Application method

Préparation des surfaces :
Avant d'appliquer le produit, il est essentiel de s'assurer que les surfaces sont propres et exemptes de poussière, de saleté et de corps étrangers. Les graisses et les huiles doivent être entièrement éliminées. Les surfaces poussiéreuses ou en dégradation doivent être soigneusement nettoyées. L'application d'un apprêt pénétrant tel que le P Primer Clear ou Terrabond A (dilué avec de l’eau au 1/3) est recommandée sur les surfaces poreuses et lisses.

Conditions of application and procedures:

Application conditions:

- Temperature between 10 and 30 ºC.
- Do not apply below 5 ºC or if lower temperatures are expected in the 24 hours following application.
- Do not apply to frozen surfaces or if rain is expected in the 24 hours after application.

Installation procedures:

- Mix the components in the ratios recommended in the provided table.
- Add the powder to the resin and mix using a high-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
- Apply the mixture using a brush, roller, or spray gun.
- Allow to dry at a temperature of 20 ºC for 12 hours between each coat.
- Use the Weathercoat GP mixture within one hour of mixing, without adding water to avoid altering the properties of the product.

This method ensures effective and long-lasting application of the product to guarantee perfect waterproofing of the affected surfaces.
