FLINKOT BASF

Bitumen emulsion based on water. Brown in color, it transforms upon drying into a flexible protective coating that turns black and also serves as a hardening compound. The finished film is tenacious and waterproof, forming a barrier to water and vapor passage.

Applications

• General waterproofing and moisture protection for concrete, asbestos, bituminous paper, slate tiles, wood, etc.
• Metal protection: ensures protection of structural metal reinforcements, pipes, etc.
• Isolation provides a barrier against vapor for cold rooms, etc.
• Protection of a diversity of underground structures such as concrete foundations and retaining walls.
• Hardener for unset concrete.
